Just Getting Started

Alright everyone, bear with me as I get this set up and running. I find that I have plenty of time on my hands seeing how I am off work indefinitely. This pregnancy has definitely not been the picnic I had hoped for, but it will all be worth it once Bella is here. We had a check-up yesterday, and it came with mixed reviews. Bella is doing wonderful, weighing in at 1 lb. 7 oz. and measuring right on target for 23 weeks. On the downside, we found out that the contractions I have been having are real contractions and are indeed changing my cervix. I go back on November 25th, and they will decide whether or not to do a fetal fibronectin test to see if labor is near. I will post an update once I know more.
Miss Lakyn has discovered the joy of hand sanitizer. Whenever we venture out on our own, I cannot lift her to wash her hands when necessary, so I make sure I always have hand sanitizer (tizer as Lakyn refers to it). It has become her obession. A couple of mornings ago, she was cuddling with Bob and I, and she rolls over and looks at me and says, "As long as we are together, we be fine." It was so cute! She has, unfortunately, learned to repeat everything you say. That has definitely led to some embarrassing moments. Somedays she still refusing to acknowledge that she is having a sister instead of a brother. On the days she does acknowledge she is getting a sister, she wants to marry her off. Lakyn loves weddings. We were in one in May, and we went to another one in October. She also knows her mommy and Bobby are getting married. She is constantly talking about weddings or playing weddings. The other day she informed me that she is marrying our friends' six year old son.
It is late, and I shall take my leave now.
